Dr. Agnihotri is all about family. He treats each patient as if they are a part of his own. This is one of the many reasons why he has been voted Top Cosmetic Surgeon by Style Weekly & Virginia Living three years in a row and won multiple Top Doctor Awards in Richmond Magazine.
Dr. Agnihotri is a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has Cosmetic Surgery Procedures Certification and maintains his medical license from the Commonwealth of Virginia. Dr. Agnihotri is an executive council member of the Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a board member of the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation.
So what does all this mean? It means he is an expert of the face. His background in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery literally translates to he can only operate from the neck up. Most plastic surgeons can operate on the whole body, but at ACS Cosmetic our only focus is on your most precious asset.
Being a surgeon always meant that he wanted to be able to pay it forward. He supports numerous local and international charitable organizations. Both Dr. Agnihotri and his wife have been involved with the Richmond non-profit Runway2Life since 2016; a 501(c)(3) that encourages open dialogue about mental health, suicide awareness, and provides necessary resources for mental health education. He also supports VCU’s Women & Wellness, Richmond’s Heart Ball, SOAR365, Greater Richmond SCAN, UNOS, Greater Richmond Fit4Kids and more. During his residency Dr. Agnihotri volunteered with SmileTrain, an international children’s charity with a sustainable approach to a single, solvable problem: cleft lip and palate. Today, his commitment to providing care to patients with aesthetic, functional, and social issues remains a priority.
Dr. Agnihotri is also a clinical assistant professor at VCU’s School of Dentistry, in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He routinely attends, and schedule permitting will speak, at local, regional, and national orthognathic and cosmetic facial surgery lectures.
If you haven’t met him yet, the quickest way to his heart is through some sort of outdoor fitness activity. Dr. A can always be seen training for something – whether it be running marathons, triathlons, obstacle courses or completing an IronMan! His enthusiasm for self-care is evident in his team, as the team building activities include: Shiver in the River, the Monument Ave 10k, SportsBackers Corporate 5k and the Richmond Half Marathon events. But truly, His favorite out-of-office activity is spending time with his wife and their 3 children.
